Manners 1
For adolescents and adolescents at heart
from 6 months and up to seniors
Now that the early prevention tasks are on board, we can get a start on Manners. Socialization will continue to be important too! Great for dogs who have taken Puppy Class or Adolescents Class!
We will focus on the BIG 3:
How to Greet People, Coming when Called, and Leash Skills
as well as enrichment and solutions for living with your big puppy as they go through their ‘Teens’!

Enrichment for the Brain!
Opportunity to stay, ask questions and discuss related topics on some days after class, as I am able.

Manners 2 - Growing into Greatness
for dogs 6 months old and up
WHO HAVE COMPLETED MANNERS 1 OR SIMILAR
This advanced level class will be increasing distractions and public places,
and is a great way to prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test if that is something you want to try!
NOW that you have built some new behaviors to replace Jumpy Greetings, Leash Pulling and gotten your Coming When Called on board, it is time to generalize these for the real world as well as add some really useful new behaviors!
Class will take place both in the studio and on the road!
Leash Walking under higher distractions and past other dogs and people
Café Down Stay on a mat, with duration and distractions
Go To Place
Plus- elevator, stair, and doorway basic manners
Handler skills in recognizing body language and taking appropriate measures
Special Topics on Behavior and Training

Manners 3 - On-Going Advanced Manners
for dogs WHO HAVE COMPLETED MANNERS 2 OR SIMILAR
Have you completed Manners 1 and 2?
Then our Ongoing Advanced Manners Class is for you!
This class meets EVERY OTHER WEEK, and focuses on building on skills learned in other classes.
This class is designed to be repeated, with a flexible curriculum and regular field trip sessions. We focus on listening under distractions, faster responses to cues, and increasing teamwork and communication between you and your dog! Our next session begins September 21st, 2024.
